EPEX - Pentex update

Successful trials of Pentex yarns in our EPEX production have lead to high confidence in this material. From this point we have entered into full production of sails for certain One Design classes, and quickly establishing Pentex as a very important yarn in our expanding EPEX product line.

It is suitable for One Design classes where the OD rules do not allow aramid, whilst allowing laminates. This gives superior performance and durability over the woven polyester equivalent sails.

But it's not only for racers! It is a very durable, and high performance material for anyone looking for a sail which will perform well, and last well too! We now supply sails for the Dragonfly range in this yarn, and handle the very high loads found in multi-hulls extremely well.

It allows us to offer a product that is superior to polyester, and closer to the performance of aramid - without aramid's problems of UV degradation.
