Bavaria Yachts Gmbh are based in southern Germany and is one of the largest boatbuilding facilities in the world. They have been applying German engineering and craftmanship to the building of sailing yachts since 1979.
The range of Bavaria’s yachts has been from 30ft to 50ft, with many incarnations of the popular sizes over the years - recently there has been the emerging new range starting from the 32NC up to the new 55ft Cruiser.
Elvstrøm Sails have been and still are the sole supplier of sails for Bavaria sailing yachts. The supllied sails are from our cruising range and are available for all the rigs which are available to Bavaria customers. 
In addition to the polyester cross-cut sails which come as standard with your Bavaria, Elvstrom also offer an upgrade range - suitable for those making long passages enhancing the performance of the boat and lasting longer.

What should I do when the time comes to replace my Bavaria's sail(s)?
 At Elvstrom Sails, we have experience and full knowledge of your Bavaria, whatever the age and model!
As you would expect, we are involved right from the early stages of all new Bavaria's. We continually strive to ensure that our products continue to meet the expectations of the yard and their customers. The choice of materials and attention to design details is approved by Bavaria and should provide peace of mind.
Every sail comes with its own ID, and this descripes everything in the sail that was originally built for your Bavaria, from the actual roll of cloth used, to all the fittings and of course the exact design and dimensions. It is therefore straightforward to replicate the sail - leaving you with no uncertainties about the fit of your new sail!
Here at Elvstrom Sails UK Ltd we have a full and authorised service facility in Hamble and we can provide you with an estimate on any repair work needed on your sails and also offer a valet and general check over service.
