Quorning Boats was founded in 1967 and since 1981 have manufactured Dragonfly multihulls, which combine quality, comfort and performance into the sailing experience.
The Elvstrøm Sails involvement with the Dragonfly marque goes back to Paul Elvstrøm, as he owned the Dragonfly 800 "BES" for 10 years. The Dragonfly is a high performance specification multihull, therefore requiring high performance racing sails - to provide the driving force behind these powerful machines.
Multihull Review described the fully battened mainsail on the Dragonfly 35 Ultimate as “a work of art by Elvstrøm.” It is important that our sails live up to the expectations of the designers and manufacturers of the boat, so their dream can become reality. The choice of materials and attention to design details is approved by Dragonfly and is there for your enjoyment and safety.
Our design system ensures that we can track back all the fittings and exact design and dimensions of your sail. This makes it very simple to replicate the sail at any time in the future.
Servicing your Dragonfly sails
We have full and authorised service facilities on site in Hamble and we can provide you with an estimate on any repair work needed on your sails, we also offer a valet service and general check over facility
